The 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar year is an important day for the Chinese people. The day is called Duan Wu Festival, or Dragon Boat Festival, celebrated everywhere in China.
On June 6th, a special activity called “Dragon Boat Festival: Embrace Happiness with Zongzi ” was held in Yaham. Employees from Yaham gathered together to enjoy the happy festival.
In the DIY process, shortly after the teacher demonstrated how to select and clean reed leaves, choose fillings and then wrap a zongzi, the eager participants began to follow suit. All of them made their zongzi with joy and laughter, experiencing the ways of celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival.
